Sicangu Child and Family Services is a child welfare agency. Sicangu Child and Family Services is located on the Rosebud Indian Reservation which is home to the Sicangu Lakota Nation.

The mission of Sicangu Child and Family Services is to:

Preserve, Protect, and strengthen the children and families of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe.

Provide culturally appropriate and sensitive services to children that meet family needs.

Provide services through efficient and effective services system that will enable families to work within their own Tiospaye to ensure the safety and well-being of their children.

Placing children who are removed from their parents, with relatives when appropriate, or in a tribally licensed foster home.

Protect the bond between the Rosebud Sioux Tribe and the children by promoting the security and stability of children and families.

Sicangu Child and Family services is need of the following:

            Hygiene items (shampoo, conditioners, body wash, lotion, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste)

            Baby Products (baby shampoo, baby wash, baby lotion, baby powder, baby wipes, diapers)

            Diapers in all sizes

            Blankets (Infant, Toddler, Child and Twin sizes)

Winter Items:

            Blankets

            Hats, scarves, and gloves (Adults and children all sizes)

Christmas Items:

            Coloring Books

            Adult coloring books

            Markers

            Crayons

            Coloring Pencils

            Hairbrushes

            Fidgets

            Hot Wheels

            Fun socks

These items directly support our children in care, foster parents, and relative foster placement.
