Crafting Change is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that launched in March, 2021. Founded in the COVID-19 era, we learned firsthand what a group of inspired craftivists can accomplish together. Crafting Change believes in a world where makers feel inspired and empowered to make a difference in the world around them. Our mission is to provide a collection of projects in collaboration with trustworthy organizations and create an online community where craftivists can share resources and find friendship. Together we will make high-quality items that bring joy, comfort, and support to those in need.

Crafting Change matches makers to projects with purpose, helping those in need.

We gladly accept clean, odor-free quilting cotton from smoke-free environments, and unfinished quilt tops or squares.

We also accept:

Unopened yarn (purchased within the last five years, with the label still attached).
Sewing notions such as zippers, double-fold bias tape, Velcro, webbing, interfacing, needles, and newer thread.
Sewing tools in good working order, including quilting rulers and bias tape makers.
Sewing machines that are fully functional.
