CARC accepts all clothing and household items for donation for resale in our Treasure Chest stores.

CARC provides work opportunities and living arrangements for over 300 men and women with developmental disabilities in Calcasieu, Beauregard, Cameron, Allen and Jeff Davis Parish.  CARC has six community homes and two apartment complexes in the Lake Charles area and one apartment complex in Sulphur.  The monies to carry out these services comes from contracts with the State and Federal government, donations, and work that our individuals with developmental disabilities perform such as commercial janitorial, commercial lawn maintenance, and community employment in restaurants and stores.  Donations made to CARC help hundreds of individuals every day.  When you think of our clients in this way, you help our agency improve the daily lives of those we serve.
