Appalachian Outreach accepts donations of gently used or new household items, clothing, toys, decorations, artwork. AOI distributes anything useful in setting up a household. Utensils, pots and pans, dishes, bath towels, blankets, sheets, lamps, tools, furniture etc are all appreciated donations.
Appalachian Outreach is a non-profit located in Wheeling WV. AOI takes donations of gently used or new household items and furniture and distributes them to those in need in the northern panhandle of WV. AOI exists to ease the burden of poverty for people in need in Wetzel, Ohio and Marshall Counties. We serve the working poor, homeless, those being rehoused due to fire, disaster, or other circumstances requiring a ‘fresh start’ and people who are having difficulty making ends meet. We are a small organization who are deeply committed to helping our neighbors in need.
