In a world filled with economic instability, global uncertainty, and lack of community, children need us more than ever. Because One Matters is here to offer more than just compassion. We are here to offer hope and real support and encouraging both children and families. Our mission is to provide hope, dignity, empowerment, mentorship, and economic opportunity to the children we serve. We serve children in foster care, kinship care, adoptive children, low-income and young adults from communities or homes with economic disparities.

Our Need

We are in need of new or gently used summer clothing and shoes for newborns to 18 years old, for both males & females.

Summer is a glorious time, but for the families, we serve (foster, kinship, adoptive and low-income), it can come with a host of unique challenges. One of which is clothing. Clothing insecurity is a hidden crisis for children nationwide. More than 20 million American children are at risk of being clothing insecure. Not having appropriate clothing harms a child’s health, safety, and self-esteem, factors known to impact their academic performance and long-term success.

Because One Matters believes all children should have what they need at home, school, and play. Our Wrapped in Love closet provides foster, adoptive, kinship, and families in need the opportunity to shop for new or like-new clothing items, toys, and books, all free of charge.
